It’s a new day ☀️. This morning I cut back the shriveled tulips 🌷 that bloomed at the onset of spring. Apparently this process is necessary after the flower has died and the green foliage begins to wither in preserving the bulb underneath the soil for more growth the following spring.
We too have to practice the same method of cutting down what is dead in our lives for more growth long term. What seems extreme is needed for our survival of proper self care and improved relationships. I’m cutting some things back in my life for more personal/spiritual growth 🙏🏾, extensive ✌🏾 peace, everlasting joy 🤩, and unconditional love 💕 . What about you?
Today is a day of gratitude ☺️. By God’s 🙏🏾 grace I’m able to walk into my 36th year with joy😁, love💕, peace ✌🏾 , and good health. The older I get the more I realize what matters most and I’m abundantly blessed with all that God has allowed me to have, not just in material things, but in also having great family and friends. I’m excited for what God has in store for my new year. Happy Birthday to me 🥳🥳🥳🎉🍾🎂❤️
Today is a special day. 🎉My mom at 61 years young is graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Administration from #GwyneddMercyUniversity . This woman let absolutely nothing stop her. Through taking care of her family, dealing with the loss of her mother, and life curveballs, she did not stop. She is a testament that no matter what you face you can overcome it. No matter how long it takes, you can get it done. Growing up she used to always tell me it’s not about how long it takes, but about finishing. Her trust in God and believing in herself got her to this point. Please show her some love as she walks across that stage today 😊💕👩🏽🎓

December 13, 2020 I planted bulbs with hope that it would bring forth something beautiful. By the grace of God and a lineage of green thumbs (my grandma and my mom) it’s happening.
Like life, take the seeds that have been planted in you. Seeds of new ideas, seeds of innovation, and seeds of positive changes that you see for yourself and put it in its proper environment and wait for it to grow. Place your seeds in notebooks, notes in your phone, or even a vision board . Pray over it, do the work, and watch it grow.
It’s a new season of opportunity for you. Make your mark on the world that will emerge beauty that only you can give.
